Weekend planner - Fun day on the border - Life with the Lamsays

Welcome back for another weekend planner blog post! If you’re on the border and you’re after a day of fun, you’re going to want to check out these places ASAP if you haven’t already.

• BOUNCE, Wodonga

There really is something for everyone here! It’s great for tiring the kids out, it’s awesome for the adults as there’s giant trampolines and dodgeball, and there’s a place to grab a coffee and something to eat!

• WAVES Outdoor Pool, Wodonga

Another great place to get outdoors, with a big lane pool for the adults, and a splash park for the kids! There’s also a canteen to grab food at here too if you haven’t packed a lunchbox for the day.

• Albury Skate park

Head across the border for another great place for the whole family to hang out, whether you enjoy riding your bike, trying some tricks on your scooter or skateboard, or you just want to relax and watch the pros do some cool moves in the bowl, it’s a great way to get some fresh air & get your body moving! 

• Intencity Amusement Centre, Albury

This one is a great place to go before or after a trip to the movies, as it’s right next door. However, it’s fun to go to by itself too!

• Monumental ice creamery, Albury

I included Monumental because everyone loves ice cream, right? It’s also right across from the cinema, so you can make an afternoon of it by going there, then go Intencity (as mentioned above), and then grab a scoop after that! If you’re looking for some proper food beforehand, Grill’d, Zambrero and the sushi train are in the immediate vicinity!
