The local scoop!
We are huge lovers of Monumental’s ice cream - there’s always so many flavours to choose from, the staff are always super friendly, and it’s in a really convenient location - just across from the cinemas!
We’ve been here many times before, but today was our second last Hunty & Mummy day, so we made the most of it, despite the scorching heat. And because of the ridiculously hot weather, of course we stopped for a cone/tub!
Hunter chose chocolate with a sprinkle rimmed come, and I chose coconut as usual, but I also tried a new flavour today - yoghurt and cherry - definitely recommend, it was delish!
We enjoyed it inside the shop because it would’ve definitely melted straight away if we’d attempted to eat it outside.
We already reviewed the Mini Monumental shop out in Thurgoona, but after going here so many times, I thought it was about time I wrote about the OG store as well. They also use the same supplier as Beechworth Ice Creamery, which is probably why it’s so damn tasty. Great value for money, and hits the spot every time!

ReplyDeleteJust to clarify we, many of our ingredients are sourced from the same growers as that which the Bright and Beechworth ice creameries use. For
Example, berries from Gunnadoo Berries, strawberries from Beechworth berries, and share the purchase of cocoa from Switzerland. We source most of our other fruit and juices from various different suppliers due to proximity 😊
