Weekend planner - Family day on the border - Life with the Lamsays

Happy Friday everyone, who’s ready for some weekend fun on the border?!

If you’ve got family visiting you, and you want to get out and about for the day, this is the guide for you. If you’ve got young kids and you’re going stir crazy inside, and you just want a day outside, you’re going to want to check out this weekend planner. For a chilled wholesome day out, make sure you check out these places in the Albury Wodonga region:

Please click the individual links to read more about each place, but I’ve given a brief description to give you an idea.
- You buy a bucket of food & you can hand feed the animals they have there. There’s baby goats, emus, deer etc. There’s also a restaurant so you can grab a bite to eat.
- You get a bucket and you can pick a whole variety of berries. There’s also a store there where you can buy ice cream, jams etc.
- You pay a small entry fee & get a vase or a bucket, and you can pick your own bunch of flowers.
  • Woolshed Falls, Beechworth
- If you’re after stunning views and some time in nature, you’re going to want to drive out to Woolshed Falls in Beechworth. On a hot day it’s great for taking a dip too, so make sure you pack your bathers or at least a towel & a spare change of clothes.
- If you’re looking for a nice place for a relaxing walk, head to the Botanic Gardens in Albury. They also have a Children’s Garden which is great for the kids to run wild in as it’s gated.

I hope you enjoyed this weekend planner, and follow along so you don’t miss my next one!

Until next time!
