Here’s our guide to all the best places to go in Albury Wodonga to enjoy a meal, whilst you let the little ones run riot. If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to leave them in the comments, we'd love to hear from you!
Elgins Hotel, Wodonga
The indoor kids rumpus room is right next to the outdoor seating area, so on a nice day, you can sit and still watch them play. They have basketball hoops, soft play bits, and various toys for the little ones to play with. Kids eat free here all day on Saturdays.
Edward’s Tavern, Wodonga
Commonly known as Eddie’s, this tavern has a large and bright kid’s entertainment room with electronic games, movies and toys available. Keep an eye on the kids through the glass windows, while never having to leave the comfort of your leather dining chair.
Huon Hill Hotel, Wodonga
Recently under new management, Huon Hill have had a bit of a makeover. A new menu, and a kids area, the Little Legends Lounge, to keep your wild ones busy whilst they wait for their meal. Kids eat free here on Tuesdays from 5pm with any main meal purchased.
Blazing Stump Hotel, Wodonga
“Wodonga’s best family friendly bistro”, The Stump, probably have one of the best kids areas - there’s arcade games, an indoor playground, and a blow up section too so the kids can go wild. There’s seating right next to the glass windows, so you’re able to see the little ones play. An awesome place to host a party/function.
The Lincoln, Wodonga
With both an indoor and outdoor play area (with a sandpit), with seating near both of them, this is a great choice for somewhere to eat with your family. It’s right on the causeway, and kids eat free here on Wednesdays with any main meal purchased. They do an awesome steak for little ones too!
SS&A Club, Albury
The kids are here is in the process of being relocated, however, it’s an arcade style area with a few games, and I hope that with moving it, it will be in view of the dining area. With its current/previous location, it was around the corner, which meant one of us was in there with Hunter, whilst the other one stayed at the table. I’ll update this section when I can!
Brady’s Railway Hotel, Albury
This play area is awesome for burning off energy whilst waiting for food, as it involves a bit of climbing and it’s got a big slide too! It’s right next to the outdoor seating area, so you can easily keep an ear out for the kids. They have kids eat free again on Tuesday’s - hooray!
Soden’s Hotel, Albury
We’ve gone here a couple of times, and the soft play area here is a real winner with the little ones. The glass is tinted, so you can’t see in too well whilst you’re sitting at the table, but it’s a great area to cure the boredom waiting for food, and if you’re there for dinner, you can bet your kids will be ready for bed when you get home. Great place to host a birthday party too!
The Northside Hotel, Lavington
You can spot this one as soon as you come into Lavington. They’ve recently had some renovations done, and have a brand new kids area. You can see the outdoors play area as you drive past, and every time we do drive by, I keep thinking that we should definitely try it out & do a review. They have kids eat half price with every main meal on Saturdays for lunch & dinner!
Springdale Heights Tavern, Lavington
Although a little way out, this tavern has a great indoor play area for the little ones, including a climbing frame and video games. They also have a great range on their kids menu, 6 different options for $12 each. This another one we need to try out because it looks really good - stay tuned!
