Lake Sambell Playground, Beechworth - Life with the Lamsays

Happy Saturday everyone! Hunter had karate class this morning, and after grabbing a celebratory donut for getting another stripe added to his belt, we headed out of town to Beechworth.

We picked some huge strawberries this morning at Beechworth Berries, and then headed to Lake Sambell Playground. It’s got a nice shaded picnic bench where we enjoyed some of our juicy strawberries. It’s the perfect spot to eat an ice cream too, so make sure you grab one of those whilst you’re out that way - it’s delicious!

The park features mini “shops” like the ones you find in the Main Street of Beechworth. This playground was recommended by a friend of mine, and we’ll definitely visit it again next time we take a trip out here.

There’s a great twisty slide, as well as a smaller one, a flying fox, and a bridge that Hunter loved racing across to get down the slide, over and over. It would be a great spot for a birthday party if you live out there, as it’s nice a peaceful too right by the water.

We visited the lolly shop afterwards and bought some sweet treats before heading home, but the weather was beautiful, and we had a great morning!

Until next time!
