The Lincoln, Wodonga - Life with the Lamsays

We hadn’t eaten here since it was St Ive’s, but after reopening under new management and a new name, The Three Monkeys, it has reopened again and is now called The Lincoln.

It’s in an awkward spot being on the Lincoln Causeway, hence the name, with not too many other places near it. It’s located between Albury and Wodonga, but the building is beautiful and it has a really nice vibe to it still. I had my 21st birthday dinner there, and I’m 29 in November - so we’ve been frequenting there for quite some time now.

The staff are really friendly, and the food is beautiful. They even have a little play area for the kids, which is awesome for keeping Hunter entertained whilst we’re enjoying our meal. The kids meals are a really decent size too, and Hunty loves their steak & chips, and chicken nuggets & chips. Since they’ve reopened, Chelle and I have tried the chicken schnitzel, the bbq lamb on pita bread, the salt & pepper squid, and the soy ginger honey glazed chicken wings - everything was delicious!

If you’re looking for a nice meal out either for lunch or dinner, that’s reasonably priced and worth your money, make sure you check The Lincoln out. They have a gorgeous outdoor eating area too, so we might have to dine outside when the weather warms up a little bit!

Until next time!
