Huon Park Playground, Wodonga VIC - Life with the Lamsays

If you’re looking for some nice wooden play equipment in a quiet estate, with a shade sail, then Huon Park in Wodonga is a great choice for slightly older kids.

This one reminded me a bit of one of the parks out on Cardiff Avenue that we checked out a while ago, or if you’re over on the other side of the border, there’s a playground in a new estate over in Thurgoona that’s similar too!

There’s also a shaded picnic bench, with paths to cycle around too, as well as a shade sail over the playground itself which is great!

This one has been on our to do list for a while now, so after checking out some parks closer to the centre of town, we headed out to this beautiful estate on the outskirts.

There’s monkey bars, swings, a slide, and a little spot to play cafes too - score. The wooden climbing frames are brilliant as they don’t get quite as hot in the warmer months.

I’m sure it’s popular with the kids that live on this estate, but if you’re someone that prefers a quieter playground that’s out of the way, this is one for you. It’s not fenced due to it being in a low traffic area, but there’s plenty of places to sit and enjoy a picnic and watch the kids play.

 Until next time!
