Yarrabee Park Playground, Thurgoona - Life with the Lamsays

We’ve had a little break in between posts. However, we took a drive out to the new estate in Wirlinga NSW this weekend just gone. It’s got a great playground which Hunter loved with two slides, monkey bars, swings, a climbing wall, and various logs and rocks to use as stepping stones. The ground is chip bark, so it makes for quite a soft landing. It has a little part at the bottom so kids can pretend to play coffee shops, so Hunter was pleased.

There were a few other kids there, and the weather was nice and sunny. If you’re heading out Thurgoona way, we prefer the Brooklyn Fields and Ernest Grant playgrounds, but not too far from this one is Fairway Gardens. So we stopped off to explore that one too because we were close by, and Hunter enjoyed playing at both of them! I’ll write a little post about the Fairway Gardens playground soon.

I’ve managed to find a fair few more playgrounds to visit, so stay tuned to read about those ones soon. We’re looking forward to more sunny days like this one so we can explore more places together!

Until next time!
