Lake Hume Weir, Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays

 If you’re looking for somewhere to cool off other than the local swimming pools, make sure you head out to the Lake Hume Weir. The perfect spot to take a dip in the water, have a fish (if you have a licence), bring some food with you for a picnic, and enjoy some fresh air.

Hunter loves to throw sticks and rocks in the water, and you can bring your dogs so they can join in on the fun as well!

On hot days like today, we prefer going earlier on in the day because not only is it cooler, it’s also a lot more peaceful. It’s a popular spot for locals, especially on long weekends like this one.

There’s different parts of the Weir, others are more sandy, or more rocky - Kangaroo Point is a great place to park up and check out.
