Lake Hume Cafe & Playground, Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays

The weather was gorgeous today, and after laying low yesterday recovering after our trip to Wagga, we went out to the Lake Hume Weir in Albury today.

They have a cafe out there, Lake Vue Cafe, and they now offer 33 flavours of Everest ice cream. If you’ve been following us for a while now, you know we’re all ice cream lovers in this family! Hunter got rainbow (of course), Mumma got the passionfruit flavour, and I got coffee - yum!

There’s a playground next to the cafe that you’re able to use as long as you’re buying something from the cafe - but we checked with the lady serving the ice cream anyway! I would just ask when you’re buying something there before going in, because it’s owned by Discovery Parks. It has a huge jumping pillow that little man loved - I did too, I won’t lie! And there’s also a climbing frame with a slide, monkey bars etc, which this time, Hunter wasn’t too interested in, he just wanted to bounce!

After the park, we headed to Kangaroo Point for a dip in the lake. Hunter got all geared up and braved the water. It was so nice and refreshing to dip our feet in, but due to the hot weather, we didn’t stay out too long.

We had a great morning, and would definitely recommend checking it all out if you haven’t already!

Until next time!
