UPDATED Best places to grab ice cream in Albury Wodonga - Life with the Lamsays

Our second post on this blog was all about the best places to grab ice cream / gelato on the Albury Wodonga border - read it HERE!

Now that the weather is heating up, I thought I’d do an updated post so you know all the local spots to grab a cone… or a tub!

Monumental is still in Albury across from the cinema, they still have heaps of delicious flavours to choose from, but they’re also out at Thurgoona as well now. They just opened and we’ll have to take a drive out there to grab one whilst checking out the Brooklyn Fields playground again.

Topolino Gelateria is still at Junction Square in Wodonga, and it’s still our go to choice when we need our ice cream fix ASAP.  They’re open late too so it’s perfect on those warmer nights - they also do affogatos if you feel like coffee and gelato!

Augustus Gelatery has opened up in Albury and it’s not too far from Monumental. The store looks great, there’s so many flavours to choose from, but we just prefer Monumental and tend to stick to our OG favourite flavours - chocolate and coconut. 

Bubble & Scoop in Wodonga Plaza is super handy for getting Hunter a rainbow ice cream, because a lot of the fancier places mentioned above don’t stock that flavour! Although you can get it in a tub from Coles too now - score!

So, as always, there’s plenty of places to choose from here in Albury Wodonga & the surrounding areas, so happy ice cream hunting!
