The best ice creamery’s around our local area

 I don’t know about your family, but us Lamsays all love ice cream! Especially when it’s super hot and we’re all outside, or we’re on a trip out, you bet we’ll hunt down some ice cream!

We’ve tried and tested a fair few different places, and have managed to come up with our top three in and around our local area, so make sure you keep reading!

First up is Beechworth Ice Creamery in Beechworth, Victoria. If you're visiting Beechworth in the summertime, you have to check it out! Our favourite flavour is chocolate - Hunter goes absolutely nuts for it and gets it all over himself every single time. It’s so delicious that even though it’s about half an hour away from where we live, we’ve sometimes driven to Beechworth just to go the ice cream shop (I’m not even kidding)! If you haven't been there yet, it's a great day out. There's a lolly shop too with all sorts of goodies.

Second up is Monumental Ice Creamery in Albury, New South Wales. They have some amazing flavours, and my personal favourite is coconut. It’s been open since 2012, and it’s always nice to grab one when you’re out doing some shopping, or after you’ve been to the cinema across the road. Great location, friendly staff and ice cream out of this world!

Lastly, a new one we’ve tried out recently, Topolino Gelateria in Wodonga, Victoria. They’re based at Junction Square right in the heart of town. They have so many delicious flavours.. Fairy Bread being Hunter’s favourite, and they do a wicked Lemon Sorbet too! So convenient being in the centre of Wodonga, and I even had it for lunch today because it was super hot. I definitely want to try out more of their flavours before Summer is over.
