Collingwood Children’s Farm in Abbotsford, Melbourne - Life with the Lamsays

It wouldn’t be a trip away to Melbourne if we didn’t visit an animal farm would it? Last time we went to Edendale Community Environment Farm in Eltham which was really great. However, this time we ventured out to Abbotsford, and it was really nice too.

Hunter got up close and personal with the goats and gave them a pet, and there were ponies, chickens, pigs and more. There’s also a gift shop section as you walk in, and nice little cafe there where you can grab a bite to eat. 

There was a huge “workshop” section, which was like a busy board, but on a much bigger scale. This was a really cool feature that kept little man’s interest for quite some time.

Whenever we go away, we don’t tend to do much relaxing, but it’s nice spending so much time outdoors, especially when the weather was so nice too! If your kiddos love petting zoos and animal farms, and you happen to be in this area of Melbourne, pop in and check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
