Northside Hotel, Lavington NSW - Life with the Lamsays

Today we went across the border to Lavington for a look around Big W, and stopped for a meal at the Northside Hotel - somewhere we haven’t been to before.

On Saturdays, kids eat free with any main meal purchased, which meant we didn’t have to pay for Hunter’s chicken nuggets. I had the chilli garlic pasta which you could add prawns to for an extra $6, and Mumma had the entree sized nachos which she added pulled pork to for $6.

Chelle was shocked at how large her meal was, despite being a starter, we could’ve easily shared it. My pasta dish was the perfect size for me as I ate it all, and Hunter’s meal was just the right size for him - 6 nuggets, a big handful of chips, and tomato sauce on the side.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the service was really quick, the meals are reasonably priced, and the dining area is really nice & spacious. 

Hunter had lots of fun playing in the outdoor kids area after our lunch, which is fully enclosed. We were able to be seated where you can see the playground from the window too which was really good, although there’s outdoor seating nearby too.

All in all, it was a great local dining experience and we have no complaints - we’d definitely go back for another meal there!
