Oddies Creek Playspace, Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays
Today we went to Oddies Creek Playspace in Albury for a birthday party, and the kids had an awesome time! It’s had a mention in the first very first blog post we published, but I haven’t done a full write up on it yet.
We don’t go here too often, but it’s an awesome playground for kids of all ages. There’s sand to dig in, a flying fox, a climbing boulder, as well as two timber structures, one large five-metre high structure which offers wheelchair accessible ramps with a range of activities. The smaller timber structure caters for younger children and includes slides, climbers, rockers and a sand pit.
For extra features there’s: public toilets, barbecues, a picnic area, rubbish bins and a drinking fountain - so it’s got everything you need if you’re hosting a party there too. If you’re looking for something to eat, River Deck Cafe is within walking distance, and there’s a smaller play area out the front of the cafe too.
If you’re just going through Albury and you need somewhere to stop with the kids, we’d definitely recommend checking out Oddies Creek park!
Until next time!
