Museum of Play and Art (MoPA), Sandringham VIC - Life with the Lamsays

We’ve been meaning to check this epic kids museum out for a long time now, and today, we finally visited the one in Sandringham. Let’s just say we weren’t disappointed!

There is so much for the little ones to do at the Museum of Play and Art, it’s amazing. So many different parts to go in, each one as intriguing as the last. As well as different activites on at various times: painting a car, a crafts session, a story time session, and a dance party. MOPA kept Hunter, and us, entertained for the whole 2 hour session. You book the tickets online, and choose from 3 different session times, turn up at that time, and away you go!

Immerse yourself in this interactive experience, and let the kids amuse themselves for a while. There’s lots of open space, and we really loved it. We’ll definitely be back again!

They have a cafe there with healthy snack options for little ones, and grown ups, which we thought was great! We opted for toasted sandwiches, a chia pudding, some watermelon, and a toddler pack which had a bit of everything in there (carrot sticks, boiled egg, grapes, and even broccoli).

There’s also another one of their museums in Geelong, with a new one opening in Thomastown soon! Keep up to date with that over on their Facebook or Instagram pages - I’m sure we’ll visit the new one when it opens as it’s closer to us than the Sandringham one.

As you enter/exit, they have a gift shop, which has a wide variety of different toys, MOPA merchandise, and more! As always, if you’ve been here before, let us know your thoughts!

Until next time!
