Fredericks Park UPDATE, North Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays

It’s a public holiday here in Victoria for the AFL Grand Final, so you know that as soon as Albury City announced last night that this playground was open and ready, The Lamsays raced to check it out early this morning!

Fredericks Park in Albury has had a fabulous makeover, and this one will definitely be popular.

With play areas for both juniors and toddlers, a nature play area, a bike education track, a scooter/bicycle skills area, as well as an outdoor fitness zone and an outdoor basketball space - this park really has it all!

They have shade sails as well to keep the equipment cool in the warmer weather, there’s public toilets, shaded picnic tables with barbecues, and two stations to fill up your drink bottles.

We packed Hunter’s bike with us, so he got a good go of the education track, and he absolutely loved it. There was a few other kids making good use of it too, and they were all enjoying the various road signs!

A couple of mums, who are readers of the blog, recognised us too which was really nice. It’s always nice to know that this blog is always helping families find new things to see and do right here on the border.

Also, if you didn’t see already from our Facebook/Instagram announcement yesterday, Poppy will be having a chat on the radio breakfast show on Tuesday morning with ABC Goulburn Murray - here’s the link to tune in LIVE at 7.20AM.
