Ambilite Candle Co. *COLLAB* - Life with the Lamsays

Lani is the owner of Ambilite Candle Co., a small Australian business based in Benalla, and she very kindly gifted us a beautiful package with a few of her products in it as part of our collaboration together. And I can’t forget the cute Sesame Street bowl she popped in for Hunter, he loves it so much! We are so grateful to be collaborating with her, so make sure you give Lani a follow over on Instagram and her Facebook page linked above.

How did Ambilite Candle Co. begin? Well, Lani was so obsessed with candles that she decided to save herself some money by learning to make her own. She also wanted other people to be able to have access to affordable, hand poured soy scented candles. Currently, all candles are made to order, with a few ready to post depending on availability. Just send Lani a message to start creating some magic!

We were gifted two beautiful candles in the scent The Tropics, a set of wax melts in the scent Sweet Pea & Vanilla, as well as a make your own candle set. This set includes: small tin, wax for 1 candle, a wick, a wick sticker, and a sample fragrance.

The DIY candle kits are perfect for parties, or a gift for a fellow candle lover. They’re suitable for ages 12 and up, and are a bargain at $10 each.

We found the instructions really easy to follow - Hunter was fascinated with each step, and was struggling to just supervise - he helped pour in the wax flakes though, and gave it a little stir! Chelle took the lead on this project though, and it’s definitely something anyone can do. The hardest part was having to wait overnight for the candle to set! It’s now ready to light and smells wonderful, even prior to lighting.

Lani also runs candle making workshops for groups. These are suitable for 5 or more people, again, aged 12 and above. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This would be perfect for part of a girls day, or a birthday party.

So if any, or all, of this sounds like your cup of tea, make sure you follow her business pages and get in touch with Lani to grab a candle making kit, one of her beautiful candles, book in your next event, or find out when & where she’s running her next workshop!

Until next time!
