PlayWise Playful Learning, Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays

Are you looking for a fun activity for your little ones? Have you heard of PlayWise Playful Learning? Keep reading to find out more!

Sam reached out to collaborate with us, and offered a trial of the wonderful class that she runs. Located in Albury, there are classes suited for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, and they work on sensory play, fine motor & gross motor skills. PlayWise is also an NDIS provider.

They are done in a beautiful, engaging space, and it’s obvious that Sam is very passionate about what she does. There were so many different activites set up, we didn’t know where to start!

It’s only been running for a few weeks, but all of the kids had so much fun - if we didn’t have day care/work on Friday’s normally, it’s something we would’ve done for the whole term.

We did GymbaROO in the same room just over a year ago, and in some aspects, it was similar - there were songs, some planned activities, and free play.  However, the environment was more relaxed, there was more free time for the kids to play in their own way. Also, given that Hunter is now a year older since our last stint, he was able to participate more in the planned activity parts.

He loved climbing, and exploring the different bits of equipment - there was a swing, a little trampoline, a slide, and he really enjoyed finding hidden treasure in the kinetic sand with his new friends. It’s very hands on, and although adults are encouraged to participate, it’s child-led, which is really nice because the kids do what they’re interested in.

This class was 45 minutes long, which was a perfect length - Hunter was kept occupied long enough, without getting too tired, which is great for his age group. So if this sounds like something you’d like your child to do too, read more about it over on their website and book in NOW!
