NEW Gallery Exhibits at MAMA, Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays

It’s Late Under the Table of the Women by Katy B Plummer is one of the NEW exhibitions that’s on at Murray Art Museum Albury from 17th of May 2024 until 9th of February 2025.

Located in the Kids Gallery, Katy mixes cinematic storytelling and old-fashioned domestic stitching, and she tries to make things feel like we are all part of a school play.

Hunter had fun playing with the bunnies, and pretending to put them to bed. He also enjoyed going upstairs to find the other secret doors. There was also a colouring station set up as well, so he did some of that as well.

The gallery is always done up so beautifully with each exhibit, and it’s a great way to get the kids’ imaginations flowing! Luckily there’s plenty of time
to check this out, so make sure you do!

There’s also another exhibit, Everyday by Jeremy Weirauch, that’s on until the 10th of June.

Everyday presents the work of 16 artists, sharing their individual and collective experience of life in our region.

The artists exhibiting in Everyday have been brought together through an art group held at Mercy Connect, a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with disabilities to live independently and maintain active involvement in community.

Hunter enjoyed pretending to lick the giant cardboard lollipops here and posed for lots of photos against the walls!

It won’t be up for much longer, so head up to the Maurice Chick Family and MacLeod-Miller Adamshurst Gallery at MAMA and have a look before it’s gone!

Until next time!
