Lavington Library, Albury NSW - Life with the Lamsays

We’re almost at the 100 book mark in our 1000 books before school challenge! We frequently visit Hyphen Wodonga Library, and we’ve been to the Albury one a couple of times, so we decided to pop into the Lavington library today for a bit of a change.

It got renovated fairly recently, and it’s located on the ground floor of Northpoint Tower. They hold exhibitions here too, as well as story times and baby bounce for the little ones. There’s computers to use with free Wi-Fi, Microsoft Office, and you can also print, fax and copy. The toilet facilities were also done up and they look really good - there’s male, female, and a unisex/disabled toilet too!

The library is conveniently located near Lavington Square plaza, and what’s really great is that once you’re a member, you can also return books from the Albury library there too and vice versa. Please note, this doesn’t apply to the Wodonga library, as it’s on the other side of the border.

As well as enjoying the different selection of books they have here, little man sat down at the table in the kids area and did a puzzle. They also have some Lego to keep the kids occupied too.

On our way out, we used their self serve machine to scan our books - a really user friendly bit of technology - we’ll definitely be here again next time we’re over that way!

 Until next time!
