Garden Gallery Cafe, Wodonga VIC - Life with the Lamsays

How are we already in May?! This year is flying by, but another day, another local cafe… Today we went to Garden Gallery Cafe at the Plant Farm in Wodonga for a drink before swimming lessons. I opted for a chai latte, and Hunter had a  babycino with a marshmallow.

I’d heard from another mum that they have a great kids play area, and they were definitely right! They have a little climbing frame, as well as a cubby house lots of toys in there.

The area is fenced off so the little ones can’t escape, and the toilets are right next to the cubby house, so it’s easy to whisk them off to the loo if they need to go.

Given that we didn’t check out the food here, I can’t review that side of things. However, I was super impressed with the kids play area, so I think this is somewhere we’ll visit again in the near future. Although, I’m not sure if the majority of their customers are older people, as the staff didn’t seem to know how to interact with little man, which was a shame, as he’s super social and loves to say hi.

But there was another mum there with her two kids, so it was nice to have a chat whilst the little ones played! So if you’re on that side of town, or fancy somewhere different to grab a cuppa from, check it out!

*UPDATE* We visited again today, over a year later, and the staff were super chatty with little man! They were more than happy to wait for him to order himself, despite the long queue behind him, and one of the ladies showed us their cockatoo, Poki. It was a lovely trip, even with the rain! They also have a few things to keep the kids busy at the table in their inside dining area which I didn’t spot last time.
