*NEW UPGRADE* John Schwind Park, Wodonga VIC - Life with the Lamsays

We checked out the freshly upgraded playground on Billy Hughes Court in West Wodonga the other day, and it’s such a great playground for the younger ones, as well as having an awesome double-sided climbing wall for the slightly older kids too. 

It has a double slide, a “shop” so Hunter could serve me a fish latte - it’s his new, slightly questionable speciality… it has a wheel, a little flying fox, and monkey bars. The climbing frame is very similar to Branko Palavestra park, which is another great playground for the younger kids.

The park has got quite a bit of natural shade due to the trees surrounding it, however it could do with a shade sail as well. There’s a bench to sit at, although it’s not too shady there, and the playground doesn’t have any fencing. 

There’s still a playground that’s currently being done up, and it almost looks like it’s ready to go. We can’t wait to check that one out once it’s done, as well as one out at Leneva.
