Moni & family - Mums on the Border - Life with the Lamsays

Hi everyone and welcome back for the last issue of our Mums on the Border series for a while. Today’s post was written by Moni, mum to little Declan. Thank you to everyone who’s written in for this series, and for all of our wonderful followers who have been reading along!

Hey everyone, I’m Monique, partner to Nik and mum to Declan (2). We have a Blue/Red Heeler named Bear, and we live in Wodonga. The best part of being a mother is seeing Declan grow, explore, spending time with family members and having the best time of his life.

On Sunday 24th March, 2024 while Nik was away on a fishing trip. Declan, Georgia (Declan’s Aunty) and I went on an adventure to Mansfield Zoo. 

Mansfield Zoo is located 1 hour and 57 minutes away from Wodonga. They have a huge range of beautiful animals. Kangaroos, Deers, Meerkat, Alpacas, Emu, Lions, Wallabies, Wombat, Monkeys, Camel, Ducks, Dingo, Fox, Llama, Owls, Guinea Pigs and more.

 It’s a beautiful outing for family and a site seeing of this beautiful country, and you get to experience feeding the animals. Declan stated that the kangaroos are his favourite!
