BIG4 Holiday Parks - Life with the Lamsays

We’ve been staying in BIG4 Holiday Parks since our first holiday together to Adelaide in 2015, and we stayed at their West Beach park in one of their colourful cabins for a few nights. In 2017, we stayed at Apollo Bay Pisces in Victoria, and Narooma East’s in New South Wales, both in our little camper trailer for several nights each trip. Last year, we stayed in a cabin at their Dandenong park when travelling to Melbourne for two nights.

We now have a trip to the Gold Coast booked in for the end of the year for a week, and we’ll be staying in our tent at their park in Helensvale. Its right by the theme parks, and they have awesome facilities including a fantastic water park that I’m sure we’ll all thoroughly enjoy.

We didn’t stay at the Dandenong park for too long, and the parks we stayed at prior to this, were pre motherhood days, so we obviously didn’t make the most of the facilities they had on offer there. But you can check out each park on their website to see what each park offers during your stay. There’s BBQ’s, function rooms, indoor play areas, outdoor playgrounds, water parks, and so much more!

However, now we’re a family of three, we’re looking forward to staying at more BIG4 Holiday Parks when travelling in the future. You can buy vouchers from your local BIG4, and then save them up when you plan a trip away. However, please note that if you want to use your vouchers, book directly through BIG4 themselves, not a third party like Booking.com. We made this mistake when we ventured to Dandenong, so are using them for Gold Coast instead now.

Once we’ve done our Queensland trip, we’ll have stayed at 5 BIG4 Parks, with 4 being in different states. There’s so many to choose from, and we hope to tick off more of their parks in the future!

Until next time!
