Russell Cochrane Park, Wodonga VIC - Life with the Lamsays

We checked out Healthy Wodonga’s playground of the month recently, which is Russell Cochrane park on Pettiford Court. A small, shaded park hidden away, with a picnic bench so you can enjoy a bite to eat whilst you’re there.

It’s not fully fenced, but there’s only the entrance part where kids can escape, and being that it’s in a court, it’s not right near a main road which is good.

Hunter loved riding on the horses, and there’s a ball game in the middle of this feature that everyone can play if you have 4 kids there to sit on each horse. He also had fun on the climbing equipment.

Due to the trees providing such great shade, despite it being another hot day, we were able to play on everything without the equipment being too hot, and a bucket hat sufficed for sun protection.

If you’re looking for a smaller park for little ones, this one is great. Alma Rodgers is anktjer playground with a very similar layout, but in a different part of Wodonga.

 Until next time!
