Jack Roper Reserve, Broadmeadows VIC - Life with the Lamsays
This was our first stop when we arrived in Melbourne this weekend. We had some time to kill before the lolly shop opened, so we headed to Jack Roper Reserve in Broadmeadows. It’s a wooden playground with a castle theme - bridges to cross, chains to climb up, and a twirly slide that mums had to climb down because it seemed to have too many twists. Although Hunter wasn’t too phased about crawling down parts of it!
They had in-ground mini trampolines which he loved, as well as a flying fox that he wasn’t keen on trying out solo. There was also a musical element and statues to climb on. We picked one of the hottest days to hit the city, so we didn’t stay here for too long, maybe half an hour? But we played on most of the equipment here and we all worked up a bit of a sweat.
If you’re in the Broadmeadows area usually, or you’re heading into Melbourne and are in need of a pit stop, this is a great spot to go.
Until next time!
