Brand NEW Vortex Entertainment Centre, Wagga Wagga NSW - Life with the Lamsays

It was a public holiday today, so of course we went on a family day out. We hadn’t done a trip out to Wagga Wagga in NSW since February last year, so we were well overdue. I’ve been seeing the new Vortex Entertainment Centre all over my social media feeds, so we definitely had to check it out for ourselves.

It’s only just opened, and it’s been really popular - now we know why! There’s a soft play area for kids 5 and under, which is free entry. There’s a soft play area for the older kids, which is $12 when you book online, and $15 if you pay on the day at the venue. There’s also a rock, a high ropes section, as well as bumper cars and VR rides (which are both added costs to the entry fee).

Despite Hunter being too light and too short to go on anything but the fixed play structures, we spent an hour and a half in there and had an absolute blast. There’s a double slide, a single slide, and a tube slide in the play area for older kids, and we went down them all. There’s also a cafe so you can grab a coffee whilst you watch the kids, and there’s slushies, water, and soft drinks, as well as a variety of food.

You’re sure to have heaps of fun here, and if you’re chasing your kiddo around the place like I was today, you’ll be just as tired as them! Don’t forget to bring your grip socks, but if you forget, you can buy them as you go in for $3.50.

Even though Wagga is almost an hour and 45 minutes away, we’ll definitely come back to play at Vortex again!

 Until next time!
