Riverside Park, Essendon VIC - Life with the Lamsays

All aboard the Black Sapphire in Essendon! This playground is the Riverside Park in Essendon, Victoria. A huge pirate ship themed park that has a steering wheel, telescopes, a plank that you can walk along, and even a treasure map.

There’s sand surrounding the ship too which makes it seem more realistic, as well as a Captain’s Quarter’s section too. If your kid is a pirate lover like Hunter, I’m sure they’ll love this playground. And if you live around that part of Melbourne, this would be an awesome place to host a birthday party.

We’ve been to 15 parks in Melbourne this year, and this one was definitely towards the top of our list! The gorgeous weather definitely helped us enjoy the day even more.
