Christmas light displays in Wodonga - Life with the Lamsays

Tonight Hunter managed to stay up late enough for it to get dark - so we went to look at some of the gorgeous Christmas light displays in Wodonga.

There’s a map you can check out to find where your nearest displays are, and plenty of people on the local Facebook groups have posted about their favourites too. Plan your own route HERE

To start of with, we went for a drive down Wodonga’s “Best Decorated Street” and it was lit up really well despite the current cost of living! Hunter was in awe at all of the pretty lights and was desperate to get out of the car to have a look! They had a singing Santa and the driveway was lit up really nicely too.

After that, we headed to Marshall Street to see The Simpsons house where Greg Gillam (Hunter called him Santa) has done up his house since Mumma was young. There was music, lights on the floor, and the roof decorations looked amazing! Read about the heart felt story behind the Simpsons Christmas lights display HERE!

Lastly, we went to Zeinert Street on our way home because they have a cool Grinch theme going on, and the cartoon version of the movie is a favourite in our house at the moment. By this time, Hunty was hanging to go home to sleep, so that’s what we did. But if you haven’t been out to see some pretty lights yet, it’s not too late! If Hunter decides to stay up late again, we may go and check out a few more before Christmas!

Until next time!
