Brooklyn Fields playground, Thurgoona NSW - Life with the Lamsays

It’s been about a year since we ventured out to Brooklyn Fields playground, and Hunter had a great time playing in the sand and enjoying the water play feature.

This is an awesome park for the little ones, and if you don’t live out at Thurgoona, it’s definitely worth a drive out there. It’s in a relatively new housing estate, so there’s not much traffic. There’s also an outdoor gym section in the park, so the adults can have some fun too.

The water feature is great as it’s a big wheel the kids can turn and it makes the sand nice and wet for some messy play. There’s also buckets that you can fill with sand and use the chains to bring the buckets up and down, it definitely keeps them occupied for a while. 

And as well as the climbing frame element itself, with ropes, a bridge and a little flying fox, there’s also a double swing and a single swing next to that.
