Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne - Life with the Lamsays

Today we had a really lovely walk around Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne. The weather was perfect, it was nice and quiet, and Hunter snoozed in the pram until we reached the main attraction - the dragon slide! How awesome is it?

There was also a fairy tree, a giraffe swing, a dolphin water feature and some really awesome fountains. Such a relaxing atmosphere, with the elements of fun for the little ones. It reminded me of the children’s garden at the Albury Botanic Gardens, but I think it’d be so cool if the big dinosaur feature there was a slide like this dragon one! 

If you’re in this area visiting Melbourne, I’d definitely recommend taking your kiddos here. If you don’t visit the city very regularly, and you’re from the AW border or surrounding areas, the Albury one is really great too. So much for the little ones to do, and it’s nice to feel like you’re out in nature whilst not being too far from civilisation.
