CERES Community Environment Park in Brunswick, Melbourne - Life with the Lamsays

An outdoors haven for eco-warriors located in Brunswick, Melbourne. CERES Community Environment Park is a unique, non-profit centre offering an organic grocery & cafe, nursery & environmental education.

We spent our time in the Terra Wonder Play Space was so cool to visit, and I’m so glad I came across it. It’s got some really cool equipment to climb on/in, it has a big sandpit with diggers to play with, and it kept Hunter entertained for ages. Totally different to anything we have here at home, and definitely not your typical playground.

It was awesome to see him get stuck in and try and climb everything by himself, and his Auntie and Uncle had fun chasing him around too.

They also have a bike shed where you can donate old bikes that will be repaired and resold to avoid waste. It’s a community group run by volunteers. Bikes are refurbished by the volunteers and then sold back to the community at an affordable price.
