Valentina Gillard Park in Wodonga - Life with the Lamsays

This playground was probably our longest walk yet! It’s on Oakmont Circuit in Wodonga which is near the golf course. I used to pass it when I caught the school bus, and it was always on my list of parks to take Hunter too, we just don’t venture out that way too often. Last time we did, we took him to the Daintree playground instead, which is newer, and not too far from this one at all.

It’s a decent sized playground with a basketball court, and a barbecue further down, but unfortunately, no public toilets out that way. There were a couple of other kids there, so Hunty had fun making new friends. This equipment is definitely suited for kids a little older, and we’d probably come back here for another play, however not for a while due to it being quite far away from home when walking. There’s a nice big slide, monkey bars, a little flying fox, a balance beam, and a climbing wall.

If you live in the country club area of Wodonga, both this park and the Daintree one are great! This one has more room to run around, Daintree has better equipment as the playground is much newer.
