New upgrade to Castle Heights playground, Wodonga - Life with the Lamsays

This afternoon we headed to the South Wodonga area to check out the newly updated Castle Heights playground. The equipment is great, there’s lots of selection, and as well as the traditional slides, swings, and climbing equipment, there’s also an obstacle course part a bit further down the hill which is great for older kids.

It’s a bit out of the way for us, however, I used to live around that area, so it’s easy to get to if we fancy a bit of a walk. It’s also near the Wodonga Plant Farm, so if you wanted to grab some lunch and a drink, it’s just across the road from the park.

By the time we’d been there 10 minutes or so, a few other kids rocked up, so Hunter took the opportunity to make some new friends.

We’re really loving visiting all these playgrounds, and it’s so great to see that Wodonga Council is upgrading so many of them, although it’s a shame it’s mainly due to vandals. There’s another playground being done up next week, so we’ll have to revisit that one once it’s done too!
