Fairway Gardens playground in Thurgoona NSW

We visited this small playground on the same day we took a drive out to Yarrabee Park, because they’re not too far from each other. This one is right on the golf course, and it’s nice and peaceful out that way too.

Hunter loved playing here, and if it wasn’t as far out, we’d probably be back to this playground more often. It has a slide, monkey bars, a little tuck shop, and a plank that Hunter found it fun to keep walking across. He still calls it “the hard part”. 

The community around here is also really great. Mummy being the smart person she is (aka ME) had her bank card in her jacket pocket and it must have fallen out at the park. The next day I saw someone had posted it on their local Facebook group, and three primary school kids had picked it up and handed it to someone that lives nearby. I was so thankful that I managed to get it back! 

If you live out Fairway Gardens way, and you have young kids, definitely check out this little park.
