Monday morning playgroup at Wodonga West Children’s Centre

To kick off a brand new week, Nanny took Hunter to the playgroup that’s on at Wodonga West Children’s Centre. There’s lots of coughs, colds and Covid going around at the moment, meaning there was only Hunty and two other kids there today.

This one is council run, rather than volunteer run, and it’s in the same room where he’ll be doing Kindy next year, meaning he’ll get familiar with the room before he starts!

He played with trucks, toy animals, he did some sensory play, puzzles, and enjoyed some morning tea. One of his friends from the Friday playgroup was there too, and they hugged each other! I’m so glad he’s so social and has been making some new mates going to these groups.

The council run playgroups are free, you just have to enrol your kids for those ones. But with the volunteer run ones, they’re only $4 and that just goes towards the hiring of the room they use, and morning tea. He has the Victory playgroup on Wednesday, and the Felltimber playgroup on Friday, so he gets a day in between each session.

Nanny said the Wodonga West one today was her favourite so far, and Hunter had a great morning, so everyone’s happy!

Until next time!
