Must have items for your little ones

If you don't already have these, it's time to start shopping!

Magnetic tiles:

These keep the kids entertained for ages - there are so many different things you can build which encourages imaginative play. They're not too hard to construct, meaning child can do lots of independent play. Hunter is almost 2 and a half, and he's now getting the hang of building things himself. We've had them since our eldest nephew, who's now 10, was about Hunter's age. They've lasted really well, and all of the kids love playing with them when they're at Nanny's house.

This set at Kmart looks great, and if we didn't have a whole tub full already at home, I'd probably grab this one here!

Balance bikes:

These are a great way to get your kids outdoors - they're awesome for building confidence, as well as being a form of exercise. There's lots of different varieties for different ages, heights etc, out there so you can choose one that's right for your child. We picked up one from Kmart, and despite Hunter being quite tall, it's still a bit too big for him. We ordered a Little Nation one online, which seemed like it would be a better size for him , and it’s a lot easier for him to ride. The link for this one is here! We’re excited to test it out at the pump track soon!

Waterproof overalls:

These stop clothes getting too muddy when playing outside, and they're easy to wash. They come in a variety of colours and there's different brands out there if you have a Google. We got ours from Minimuds, which is relatively local to us in Bright, Victoria. They have fast shipping and they were recommended by a friend. We bought a size 4 for Hunter so they'll fit for a bit longer, and we got the colour sage. Grab yours here!

Kids reusable coffee cup:

If you're a coffee lover like me, then you'll probably have a couple of adult reusable cups in the house. But when I saw the BBchino ones come up online with all their cute designs, I had to order one (maybe two) for Hunter. We go for babychinos regularly, so for us, this was a must! We chose the bee and the Vegemite designs, and most cafes seem to be allowing them again post-Covid. They've also just released adult cups that match the kids ones, which is super cute! Grab yours here!

I hope you found this useful, and keep in mind, that whilst these things are really cool, I'm sure there's plenty of things that you have for your kids that we don't have. Kids don't need materialistic things to have a great time, but if you do grab any of these, or have any of them already, feel free to leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!

Until next time!
