More playgrounds you should explore in Wodonga

Hello fellow playground enthusiasts! We're back again with some more parks in Wodonga that you might not have checked out yet. We went to one of them on Mother's Day, and it was so nice to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. If you're a regular reader of the blog, you'll know that we're always trying to find new playgrounds to explore. And if you're lucky enough to have a little wild child like us, who loves being outside, you'll know why! So if you have any recommendations, please leave a comment at the bottom of this post - I'm sure there's quite a few we haven't been to yet given that we live on the NSW/VIC border with a fair few surrounding towns.

Henry Nowik Park Playground, Koetong Crescent

This playground is bright, and inviting. It has a couple of slides, a spiderweb, as well as a little bit where kids can pretend to play cafes. Behind the playground there's also a bike track, which is great for kids like Hunter who are getting to grips with riding a balance bike, or a bike with training wheels. We had so much fun here, and because it's on a crescent, it's away from any main roads, so it's out of the way. We'll definitely be back for a play soon!

Graeme Sutherland Park Playground, Chapple Street

This playground didn't have much to it, it's nice and simple, but Hunter had a ball here. It's far enough away from the main road, so it feels safe. The equipment is age appropriate for our little man too, so he didn't need much help with the equipment. There's a couple of slides, as well as a few other bits of play apparatus. We probably won't race back to this one anytime soon, but it's great if you live nearby and are looking for a park where your kid can run off some steam.

Henrika Kuljurgies Reserve, Charlton Road (Killara)

Even though this park is a bit further out, we drove out there at the weekend and it was great! The playground here is probably for kids a bit older than Hunter, but he had fun trying to work out how to climb to the top of the slide. After a few attempts with some assistance, he managed to do it himself. This playground is well maintained, and it's so quiet in Killara, so the pathways nearby are great for a peaceful walk. We took the balance bike with us too, so Hunter rode off and we just strolled on behind him. This park is definitely worth the 10 minute drive out of the CDB. It's also not too far from Huon Hill, so we drove up there too to get some Mother's Day photos!

I hope you enjoyed today's post, and I'm sure we'll be back with another post about playgrounds very soon.

Until next time!
