Kids DIY Workshops at Bunnings Warehouse

Today we went on our Saturday trip to Bunnings, and although we were there a bit too early for the actual workshop, Hunter had fun colouring in at the table by himself! They run these DIY workshops for kids every weekend, and it’s something different each time which is great!

Because it’s World Bee Day today, they’re doing Bee Hanging Wall Decorations, and tomorrow it’s Wooden Massagers. There were colouring in sheets and coloured pencils out, and a table was all set up ready for them to start at 11am.

This is definitely something we’ll come back to do with little man when it’s actually on, but the staff who walked past were more than happy for him to sit and colour by himself, even though it wasn’t due to start for another hour or so - so that was really lovely!

The DIY section in our local Bunnings is right next to the playground and the cafe, which is perfect for parents to chill out whilst the kids are having fun, but you’re still nice and close to see what they’re up to.

I feel like you could spend a whole morning in Bunnings without even doing any shopping - grab a coffee, let the kids run riot in the playground before doing arts & crafts, and then grab a sausage on the way out - score!

Until next time!
