Friday morning playgroup at Felltimber Community Centre - Life with the Lamsays

Today was our first time going to the volunteer run playgroup on Friday mornings at Felltimber Community Centre in Wodonga. It was beautiful weather, so the walk there was really nice too. We arrived and there were toys set up inside already, and of course Hunter went for the train tracks first!

The playgroup is run by a lovely lady, Jess, and the kids have access to the play area outside too which is awesome. It’s $4 per session or $30 for the whole term, as it’s only run during the school term at the moment. 

There’s tea and coffee for the adults, and morning tea is provided for the kids - there was sandwiches, popcorn and fruit! Hunter ate a few sandwiches, lots of cheese, and a fair bit of banana!

There were lots of younger bubs, a few kids around Hunty’s age, and a couple that were a bit older. They had so many trikes and toy cars, and the kids had so much fun racing around on them.

I already knew a few of the mums there as I went to school with them, but everyone was really friendly, so it was a really lovely morning.

If you’re looking for somewhere to take your kid on a Friday morning, definitely check this playgroup out! You can just turn up at 9.30am next Friday, pay $4 at the counter as you go in, sign yourself and your child in, and away you go!
