We checked out the Hyphen - Wodonga Library Gallery today

Today we went somewhere we haven’t been before, the library! Wodonga has done up their library and it also has a gallery there now too. They have a kids section with an interactive floor, which Hunter absolutely loved! They also had a little reading nook, so before we took home the books we picked out, Hunty was quite happy having a flick through saying “Once upon a time…” as he opened each one.

Because we had the pram with us, we took the lift up to the second floor and checked out the kids exhibition they had on display. There were several tables covered in paint, and a freezer with ice cubes in it. The idea was to get an ice cube out and put it on the table so that you could mix the paints. Hunter just got stuck into it because a few of the paints were already wet. He had so much fun!

Outside the library, they have a few different coloured throne chairs, so of course, in true Hunter style, he had to sit on each of them like the little Prince he is!

The location is great because it’s right in the heart of Wodonga, and it wasn’t too far for us to walk. We stopped for a babycino beforehand, because it didn’t open until 10am, and we arrived early!

They also have different events on, so make sure you’re following their Facebook page so you don’t miss out!

They have story time’s on for kids during the week too, so we’ll be going to the one on Thursday’s once school holidays are over. It’s for 3-5 year olds, but we’ll see how we go!

Until next time!
