Popular Wodonga park is getting a makeover

 One of our favourite parks in Wodonga is in the process of getting a bit of a makeover. It’s giving Apex Park in Wangaratta and Riverside Adventure Playground in Wagga Wagga vibes, and we are here for it!  

Whilst walking around Sumsion Gardens this afternoon, I managed to get a few shots, and it’s looking really good so far.

The new part of the playground looking a bit similar to Apex Park, as I said before, but they also have an obstacle course part which is called “Wodonga Park Warrior”, which reminds me of the parkour course in Wangaratta.

They have a flying fox, a rock climbing part (which was mostly undercover), as well as everything you can see in the photos below.

I haven’t come across an approximate finish date for the project yet, but it’ll be really nice for kids to have another part of the park to play in - and bonus points - it’s not too far from home, so I’m sure we’ll be here even more than we already are once it’s completed!
