Hunter’s first time at the beach

We went to Melbourne a few weeks ago, and as well as checking out two of the playgrounds on our bucket list, we took a trip to Brighton beach!

Hunter had such a good time getting sand between his toes and collecting shells. It wasn’t super hot, and it was a bit windy, but we all had such a nice time. Little man was a bit worried about going in the water, but we stayed for over an hour and checked out the colourful beach huts along the shoreline.

Living in ritual Victoria, we don’t have a beach near us. The closest thing we have to a beach is the Lake Hume Weir - perfect for swimming, and lots of sand, but it’s not a proper beach.

We would definitely visit here again when we’re next in the city, but as we tend to travel to places a bit closer to home on weekends, it’ll probably be a while until our next visit!
